Design Legend Chris Bangle to Speak at

Plastics in Automotive Glazing

Automotive design legend Chris Bangle, former Director of BMW Group Design and Managing Director of design consultancy Chris Bangle Associates, will present his unique perspective on the future of automotive design at this year’s European Plastics News Plastics in Automotive Glazing conference.

In a special keynote presentation titled: “Why Form Means More Than Function: Directions in Automotive Design,” this highly influential and genuinely controversial designer will discuss how bold design decisions – and the use of new techniques and materials – can shift brand identity and connect directly with consumer emotion.

Don’t miss this opportunity to gain expert insight into the automotive design process

After 16 years with BMW, Chris Bangle’s influence can be seen in almost every current BMW model, from the hugely controversial top-of-the-range 7-Series to the super-fashionable retro-look Mini. He played a critical part in shifting BMW’s image from one of conservatism to futuristic, simultaneously lifting it to become the world’s leading premier automotive brand.

 Attendees include

Bayer MaterialScience, Engel, Exatec, Sabic Innovative Plastics, Webasto, freeglass, Teijin, Mitsubishi, Fiat Group, Momentive, Cheil Industries, Huntsman Polyurethanes, Summerer Technologies
